A title, a year or a person
Start with the name you recognize. Avatar returns several productions, while Avatar 2009 targets the Pandora film. Choose Cast when an actor is your strongest clue, or Director when you want another film by a filmmaker you enjoyed. The year beside a series is its first release year, not the year of every season that followed.
Translated titles can help when a recommendation uses a different name. Search the wording you have, then compare the original title on the details page. A translated alias identifies the production; it does not guarantee a dubbed track. Keep the original-language filter broad until you know which production you meant.

Old NetMovies links may contain the same notation after an episodes path. Search accepts that recognizable title information too. Follow the result’s episode link to the named record. If another service uses different arc numbering, compare the episode title and date rather than trusting the number alone.
Use one filter to solve one problem
Format separates a movie from a series. Release dates narrow a period. Runtime filters find movies that fit the time you have. A minimum rating uses TMDB scores and requires at least 100 votes, so it does not confuse an isolated high score with a broadly rated title. Production country is where the work was made; viewing country is selected separately on the title page.
If the combination gives no matches, reset it before rewriting the title repeatedly. The current selection may not include a particular production. An empty result is better than a superficially similar film presented as the one you asked for. You can still browse a related collection while keeping the original recommendation in mind.
